Artist's Notes
An escape from reality - distant from the pervasive distractions of everyday life. The equidistant soul of the Form Portfolio is considered to be the antithesis of Marina's hallmark series works, such as "Dysmorphic" and "It's Lonely Here."
Form Portfolio represents and embraces the human form through gentle expressions of movement, soft lines, and more subtle color ranges. It is everything that Marina's hallmark series works are not. The Form Portfolio does not aim to charter deep into conflicting conversational experiences, rather, the Form Portfolio takes pleasure in its playful ability to provide a pathway to escapism. Embracing the spectrum of beauty, tranquility, and sensuality. While distinctly different from Marina's hallmark series works, the Form Portfolio remains to be a signature extension of her full artistic range and maturation of discipline reflected in her comprehensive body of work.
